HOMER software does not allow the energy management, it allows the design of renewable energy systems, last month, in version 3.7. it introduced new options for using microgrid control strategies. These options include 2 Applications Programming Interfaces (APIs) that allow users to create their own dispatch algorithms, a new microgrid control strategy dispatch algorithm, and a new controller component.

For management, i think Simulink by using state flow is better.
