What is the best RNA extraction protocol for PANC-1 cells ?

What is the best method for providing non-degraded RNA after extraction. The direct-zol miniprep kit has been used as well as the TRIzol-chloroform method. Or what modifications can be made to these protocols to help with the extreme RNA degradation seen in PANC-1 cells.
