I agree with previous comments. Moxifloxacin is reported to possess highest in vitro activity against M.Tb. So if csf levels are monitored and achieved it is a good second line agent. Also, it has been suggested in the article below that a moxifloxacin dosage of 800 mg once per day can avoid resistance (Gumbo T et al,. Selection of a moxifloxacin dose that suppresses drug resistance in Mycobacterium tuberculosis, by use of an in vitro pharmacodynamic infection model and mathematical modeling. J Infect Dis 2004;190(9):1642-51). So moxifloxacin or levofloxacn may be useful as second line agent if any of the drugs in first line cannot be used.
