I would like to find the best-updated probability and Statistics book in the field of Structural/Civil Engineering. So, do not hesitate to leave your response if you think it can be helpful.
The book “Introduction to Probability and Statistics for Engineers” by Milan Holický is a concise guide on practical applications of probabilistic concepts in engineering. It includes many instructive examples and exercises, making it suitable for both undergraduate and graduate students of science and engineering.
Hey Mohsen! The book "Probability, Statistics, and Decision for Civil Engineers" by Jack R. Benjamin and C. Allin Cornell (Dover Books on Engineering) is extremely useful. I have the 2014 edition. It has an intuitive way of explaining the mathematical background and often connects with the structural/earthquake engineering practice. Plus, it is relatively cheaper since it is a Dover publication. Give it a try!
