it makes no sense to first prepare nanoparticles and then precipitate them unless you have a specific application for the agglomerated particles. For separation you may use centrifugation. If you know approximate size and density you can calculate RCF and time needed for separation based on Stokes law.

You can precipitate colloids by increasing the ionic strength in suspension since they destabilize.
