I am aware that current methods are not very accurate but can anyone with experience advise which one is the best of the currently available kits. I am inclined towards using kinetic LAL turbidimetric assay ( Lonza Pyrogent 5000) or the LPS Elisa kits (like this one : https://www.lsbio.com/elisakits/gram-negative-endotoxin-elisa-kit-sandwich-elisa-custom-ls-f15272/15272  )

Can anyone offer a word of caution, if one.

I am expecting high values in my sample (5-6 EU/ml) type and I am primarily interested in relative differences between two groups than measuring the exact amounts. So I am hoping low sensitivity is not an issue.

Thanks in advance.
