What would be the approach to remove repetitive and non-unique sequence motifs/reads with low complexity and increase sequencing capacity with unique genome elements, suitable for "unknown" pathogen detection?
Cot denaturation/renaturation?

Normalization by DSN enzyme is a best way to remove the repetitive DNA.
thx Dinesh
can you suggest full protocol for DSN enzyme utility and some examples of reduction in rep. elements?
Please send to [email protected]
There are many kits is used to clean pcr product before go to sequencing technique, you can fiend it out in online.
Any idea how much DNA reads will correspond to Alu, Line, Sine...using NGS, considering capacity of 1000000 reads with 150nt length on average?
