My lab is looking to purchase a new high-performance CFD machine. We are using ANSYS Fluent. We post process with Tekplot 360. Does anyone have a recommendation for what would be best to purchase in this price range? We need something that has both the CPU power and post-processing memory to deal with large data set plotting (~100M node simulations)

In my point of view, you can provide your lab with a COMPUTER RACK instead of buying several PCs. My professor bought one about few months ago and we all are utilizing it, RUNNING ANSYS Fluent.
I was wondering how much CPU or RAM you are going to need that you mentioned 16k dollars. It only costed us about 1800 US dollars.
Can you provide some more information?
