Thank you Dr Shaban. Unfortunately, this method is used for A. phagocytophilum. Using ISE6 cell line was not successful in my case.

Hello Dr. Until now there was no described cell line for the isolation and the culture of A. platys. I have try previously several cell line derevated from ticks or mammalian host, however, i have never successfuly propagete A. platys for a long time. The culture stay positive untile the 4 ou the 5 weeks, then the culture return negative. I think we do improve the media used for the propagation of the cell line used in the culture. You can use the whole-blood culture system based on the method used for Plasmodium culture. This technique allowed cultures to be maintained far beyond 100 passages and did not result in continuous propagation
