Have received recommendations for HPLC and chemiluminescence for stability testing. Just wondering if anyone would like to weigh in on what is easiest to undertake, relative advantages of one over the other, or other suggestions to factor in. Also received suggestion of colorimetry.

It might also depend on the regulatory framework to which you have to comply (e.g. FDA, TGA...). Do you also need to test for related substances? Does the test need to comply to a particular Pharmacopoeia?

We are not particularly bound by a regulatory framework or pharmacopoeia, and are somewhat interested in degradation products. we are just trying to ascertain the stability over time to adjust the formulation.
In that case, if you essentially only want to see the concentration of your compound decreasing over time, I still recommend using chromatography, just to be sure that the degradation product(s) aren't interfering with your compound detection. I'd hit it with all I got (UV/Vis, MS, etc) in case I missed something, but that's just me :)
If you looking for cheapest and user friendly, easy to transfer the method any ware.. I will suggest HPLC method.

Bharani - is HPLC easier than Chemiluminescence?
Selectivity concern HPLC-DAD is superior than chemiluminecence. I heard that HPLC-CL also available.
