Hi,

DSC curve of a common colorless glass (SiO2 72,0, CaO 9,0, Na2O 14,3) includes a small endothermic peak at the temperature of 602-603 °С (attached file). And this peak occurs on every DSC with this glass.

Does anybody know what could it be? It should be some polymorhic transition or melting, but an analysis of appropriate phase digrams didn't help.
