What is my self judgment of my shunts outcome after 16 years?

This question has come to my mind as my paper was "self observation after 8 years". My answer to this question is:

a very good outcome inspite of difficulties I have faced.

I am basing my answer on things I have achieved during these 16 years. Also I am asking myself how would be my life if shunts were not implanted.

To note that my previous questions aiming to refine diagnosis and management is a different point from judging the overall outcome.
