D with experience While I was debating with my teacher that there should also compulsory teaching Skills So there should be B.Ed or A.D.E Course For Teaching Skills.
What do think Only M.phil or Ph.d Enough or Also B.ed or Other teaching courses should be compulsory?
It is generally, after Ph.D degree, to succeed to publish at least 5 peer-review papers in reputable journal, and supervise at least Master level candidate including a few years of academic experience. Hope it is useful...

We do not have many higher education institutions in our country. Because the Caribbean has so many islands that are so closely located, requirements vary. However, BA degrees are for basic teaching, Masters at community College level and doctoral degrees at University level. A professional teaching certificate is highly recommended.
In the case of formal teaching, at least the minimum qualification should be at least one level higher. Teaching experience or training would be given priority. However, any person could become a resource person to deliver lecture or demonstrate in the field based on the experience.
At the community college in my country, British Virgin Islands, Masters and Doctoral degrees are accepted and given first choices. The college has just become accredited. Therefore, that makes such a difference for lecturer selection. Bachelor degrees are accepted for skill courses. Professional teaching degrees are becoming pre-requisites. Personal and professional experiences add much credibility.
