While designing PID controller, we have to consider input disturbance (say v ) and output disturbances (say w). My question is what is basic difference between input and output disturbance and how they appear in system ? What are the cause of input and output disturbances. I observed that the presence of output disturbance transfer function (say Gdo) in case of output disturbance (w) , but input disturbance signal (v) is given directly to the system (between controller and plant).
