I want to know how to generate that matrix and how to solve it properly for asymmetrical responses

There is a lot of good papers on the subject especially by: Cameron or Bell. You can also try to use software that does the job e.g. http://www.gwtsoft.com/

Coupling matrix is a scheme used normally in Micrwave filters for the coupled structure analysis.
