Vahid Rakhshan I would not take this too far, as exactly the problem is there are many views with their terms that are both commonplace and wrong. The primary divide is between thinking/cognitive/informational and feeling/affective/value-providing (P(henomenal)-consciousness).
The second step is between minimal consciousness and our own familiar experience, which is hugely more complicated.
A related distinction I would make is between is between that which can be implemented with generic information processing, and that which cannot. Many say there is nothing in the second category (they are wrong). In the first is thinking, in the second is feeling. Put together you can build a mind. You will need some memory to make ours.
