: Lorentz Group Action vs. Mobius Group Action on Celestial Sphere

Mobius Transformations of The Night Sky.

Chris Hillman   asked the following:

Question1: Is it or is it not true that -every- Mobius transformation

of the Riemann sphere can be realized by an appropriately chosen Lorentz

transformation?

Here He   identified the Riemann sphere with the celestial

sphere, i.e. with null lines of $E^(1,3)$, that is, with one dimensional

subspaces spanned by null vectors.
