I was wondering the exact definition of a 'widened energy harvester'. I see some scholars state it alludes to the fact that by making the resonant frequencies closer to each other, we'll have a widened EH (energy harvester). Some other scholars though mention that widening EH mainly means to increase the distance between the resonant frequencies (making them far from each other).

What is your idea?

I think it mainly depends on the availability of excitation frequencies. If the excitation frequency covers a limited range, then narrowing the resonant frequency is a good idea. If the excitation frequency covers a large range, widening the resonant frequency is the best choice.
