What is a good retrograde tracer to label primary afferents with a stability of at least 3 weeks?

I am looking for a retrograde tracer to inject in the bone morrow for labelling of sensory afferents in the DRG. It should be stable for at least 3 weeks as it will be combined with another procedure.

Anyone can recommend or discard certain tracers for this purpose?

Hi Larissa,

we have used Retrobeads (LumaFlour) with 3 weeks with very good success in mouse brain. You can see it in our 2013 Neuron paper.
