"...it stop and change..." What stopped? Your chromatographic system should NOT stop of its own accord and change the integration parameters. It sounds as if there were a power surge or an intermittent power issue.

You should always have a standard sample for testing and verifying the operation. If the lamp has "died," it would be revealed by that standard.
