Plant scientists have observed that when levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere rise, most plants do something unusual: They thicken their leaves. And since human activity is raising atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, thick-leafed plants appear to be in our future.
The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere today hovers around 410 parts per million. Within a century, it may rise as high as 900 ppm. The carbon dioxide level that scientists simulated with thickened leaves was just 710 ppm.

But very unlucky is people want more and bigger living, enjoyment, leisure, factory, shopping, spaces. Woods are cutting down. People like new and discard the old. So, many places without renewing, but, be discarded.
Human claimed their power in the world. Too much material desires cut down the woods and produced too much CO2. Under this, created tragedies for the other creatures and most human..
Aside from already mentioned thicker leaves, observed effects of CO2 enrichment included higher productivity, redistribution of nutrients between parts of plants, lower grain protein content, lower water requirements and many others
That was an interesing question and the information of plants leaves get thicker was interisting to me as well. But I was thinking about rising temperature if carbon dioxide goes higher, which in turn could affect on the varioty of the plants.
