In Nash bargaining model, when using non-cooperative Nash equilibrium solution as threat point, because Nash equilibrium solution might be Pareto optimal, if it is Pareto optimal, does this mean there will be no Nash Bargaining Solution(NBS)?

Therefore, before trying to obtain the NBS, a judgement should be made whether the threat point Nash equilibrium solution is Pareto optimal or not?

This is just my own thoughts, which might not be reasonable. Hope to discuss with anyone interested and learn from your valuable ideas!
