I am working on chalcogenide material thin film solar cells. I would like to make a thin film with a colloidal ink using doctor blade technique. I could not find any film applicator that would allow me to make 1-micron thick film. Could someone who used this method to make a thin film suggest any applicator brand?

In principle, Langmur-Blodgett technique provide a way to deposit even one-monolayer thick organic film, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Langmuir–Blodgett_film, but applicability depends on the certain species properties.
As the other way (but not cheap) epitaxy can be used with very precise control of thickness and good uniformity, also multilayered structures can be easily fabricated, see e.g. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.ccr.2015.09.013

Thank you for the recommendations. I was wondering if you would recommend the Langmur-Blodgett technique for also inorganic material deposition because it indicated that organic material has more positive responses to this technique.

For inorganic materials this technique is narrowly used, but some films also can be fabricated,

May be the best way is to combine the different techniques for organic and inorganic films. For inorganic reactive sputtering and atomic-layer deposition (for oxides) are more appropriate.
