I am conducting a qualitative study on return migration. I am using Nvivo for content analysis to identify determinants of return migration and having a hard time at it. I will appreciate some ideas of what to look for when conducting such a study.
Hi, if you conduct a qualitative analysis (interviews?) then letting the material suggests you the determinants/factors might be a good strategy. Best luck!

I totally agree with Annika Hamachers regarding letting your data define the categories. But as a migrant research, I would presume socioeconomic/laboral , health/emergencies, documentation/visa, and gender/family issues. Those would be a good start
