Thanks for your answers. My template is spider genomic DNA and most of my targets contain introns and repetitive sequences!

I don't know the answer, but would love to see an answer that's based on systematic controlled experimentation, not superstition.  Please let us know here if you ever get such data :)

DNA poly Mix (Roche) is working all the time with my long pcr upto 8kb. For cloning purpose don't go for long pcr >6Kb, there is an chances of induce mutation during PCR. 

Under all routine  circumstances Elongase should work best.

Do you need high fidelity? Try Q5 from NEB. Works pretty well, but don' t know how it compares to the two you mentioned.
