I am currently modeling a simple truss with Newmark Method (time integration method) on SAP 2000, I have read some of article about process of time integration method.
But since I try to compare the "show plot function", it has different shape with the time history input. (please take a look to the picture below)
Anyone who ever use linear time integration method specially newmark method. I hope you have time to help me.

Let's go to Figure 1. "Number of output steps" is 2000 and "step size" is 0.004. So the duration of output is 8, which is consistent with Figure 2.
Seems like you are using El-centro record, I remember this record has a duration of almost 60 seconds with a step size of 0.02s. You might need to change first column of Figure 2 to 0, 0.02, 0.04, …… and change "Number of output steps" and "step size" to 3000 and 0.02 respectively. (Those number might be different, according to the record that you are using).

I have change on figure 2, as you said that graphic consistent with figure 1. My graphic still has consistent time (horizontal line) output.
but actually, consistent graphic I mean is betwen figure 3 (as acceleration input) and figure 2 (acceleration) same in vertical line.

I just change the mass source.. and the graphic shape almost same.

I think you are also almost true.. haha
If I input time history has increment 0.01 of my data (2000), so the load case also set 0.01 (for time functiion). You will face the consistent graphic shape at show plot function.
