In a few papers, I have read the Asymptotic analysis of Signal-to-Interference-Plus-Noise (SINR) coverage probability. But I cannot actually understand the difference between the conventional coverage analysis and the Asymptotic. On occasions, it seems that Asymptotic analysis is just the subset of general analysis. If this is the case, why bother doing it?
Edit: This Asymptotic analysis is different that what is being done for finding the complexity of algorithms.

We always assume that in the system something can go to infinity in order to take the limit. This is very important in the communication system though which can provide you with an approximation to your SINR without the need for simulation.
