Dear all,

I performed a PMN's infection using a pathogen. I analyzed the infected cells using flow cytometry. The infection was performed for 1 and 6 hpi. I have attached the data to the question. I can see that cells containing the bacteria decreased overtime which makes sense since some bacteria were digested and some cells were dead. However, I don't know why the cell population at 1hpi is round and it looks as a gradient at 6hpi. Could you help me in the interpretation of the different shape of the infected cell population please?
