Hello everyone,

I am working with ENVI-MET and yesterday I received the results of a winter simulation regarding a new scenario that crashed due to instability after 7 pm.

I have two doubts:

1. Are these crashes due to the tiny courtyards inside the buildings? Because these are the points where the temperature very quickly becomes very high or very low compared to the average temperature (I had the same kind of problem for a summer simulation). Perhaps if there is the presence of such small spaces in the model, it would be appropriate to eliminate them completely or reduce the horizontal spatial scale?

2. Also, the simulations lasted about a week, and I think the fact that my simulations took so long stems from those yards and the fact that ENVI-met is not able to converge the equations, so it performs even more calculations, or something like that.

Has anyone had the same problem and been able to solve it?
