The equation, i = v^b, helps to determine capacitive and diffusion-control contributions. The capacitive effects as pseudocapacitance and non-faradaic currents are characterised by b-value = 1. For b = 0.5 all processes are considered as completely diffusion-limited and the current is proportional to square root of the sweep rate. A region between 0.5 and 1 is considered as an area with both effects contribution.
I am asking in regard to hard carbon anodes in NaClO4 EC/PC electrolyte system tested via half cell sodium-ion configuration.
Many thanks in advance.
