The students Bachelor level get very limited benefit. The Master's student may get better benefit if they studied the topic of discussion in advance. The Ph D scholars are interested only in their own topic and want to get degree as early as possible. Only a very few of them as well as a very few teachers want to learn something new from such conferences etc.
Everybody in science are not actually interested in science.
What to do?
The benefit of conferences for students is very limited. As limited as it is the chair and the verbal teaching that only stimulates the memory of the memory but not the significant learning.
Students benefit most when learning is promoted with seminars, projects and research work, workshops and realization of practices in the field of reality.

Indubitably, participation in international and/or specialized conferences can be useful to both university teachers and students. By attending conferences and listening to the presentations by others, students will improve their epistemological knowledge and enhance their language skills considerably. Alternatively, attending conferences provides students with a good opportunity to get engaged with their fields, and by meeting the scholars of the field , they can clarify their questions and expand their professional vision. In a net shell, participating in the community of scholars is an opportunity for the students to assess their profession and set up goals which would otherwise have been impossible because being a part of one's professional networking may offer numerous benefits.

If we consider this as a training before participation in "adult" conferences, then I am for it. I.e. this is educational activity. Sometimes similar events exist in good sсhools too. But the scientific value of such conferences is not great. This is important only for teachers - as evidence of their success for the their authorities.

Conferences are designed for networking with researchers in your area of interest and most attendees seek out opportunities to engage with students. Attending conferences allowed me to network outside of the “academy,” to collaborate on projects through organizations not affiliated with a university. Networking also informed me of what other career opportunities were available, since I recently decided that I did not want to pursue a career in academia.

The goal here would be to discuss problems/road blocks you are having with your study while presenting your poster. If someone is interested in your work, they may have a new point of view that will help catapult you into the next phase of your work. Also, if you plan on pursuing another degree, you will meet other professors in your area of interest that could potentially be your next advisor or supervisor.
