What do you think is better for modeling and simulation : ANSYS or Solidworks?
I guess it depends on what you are trying to model. If you are trying to generate detailed engineering models and then do some basic testing on them, maybe you're better off with Solidworks. If you are trying to do research that includes CFD, CHT CFD, or transient FEM, you're almost certainly better off with ANSYS. That said, I have a lot of ANSYS experience and virtually no Solidworks experience, so I may be underestimating the capabilities of Solidworks.
It really depends on your problem what you want to solve it. I think you should pay attention to some aspects:
1- geometry and meshing: Ansys family is beter
2- models that you want to use for solving. for example in combustion simulation , fluent models and option are newer and more detailed.
3- easy to use: this is really depend on you, for example many old researchers are using Gambit still even though it's tough and harsh for newer users.
