It can be taken for granted that lab infrastructure is highly important. But what about the architecture of buildings? Perhaps scientists are more motivated and doing better when they work in a nice building. Of course, whether someone likes the architecture is highly subjective. Other aspects probably matter more, in particular the team and the functionality of the lab. Nevertheless, working in a nice building might also play a role. What do you think?
