Dear Saleh, the key is the sediment load/transport. It controls partly the transition between the meandering and anabranching planforms, and huge sediment surplus (which can be a result of quick local land use change, excavation or vegetation loss) can be resulted in temporally braided character.

Besides the sediment load/transport as suggested, hydraulic/ flow pattern because of landuse changes also would be affected the meandering rivers migration.
