Its not acceptable anupama. The first gel picture two bands are not visible. In second gel picture lane 2,3 and 5 two bands are visible but concentration is low.
The gel image indicate DNA contamination. Perform a DNase treatment and re-run. Also do check for NanoDrop or any UV measurement for A260/280 ratio for protein/DNA contamination. The value should be between 1.8-2.0, although the method is not very reliable.
What was the method used to isolate the samples? Storage conditions?
Generally two distinct bands will be visible on the gel image which represents 23S rRNA and 16S rRNA. In case of pure RNA,intensity of 23S rRNA and 16S rRNA bands will be in the ratio 2:1.
In the first picture you have provided, two bands are not visible.
In the second pic - in 2nd 3rd and 5th lanes, the bands are very faint which indicates low concentration of RNA.
Background fluorescence in the 1st ans 4th lane (in 2nd pic) indicates DNA contamination.
