The simplest model of a light source is a monochromatic, infinite (in space and time) plane wave. Your simulation will
- NOT be spatially resolved, since it is infinite in space
- NOT be spectrally or frequency resolved, since it is monochromatic
- NOT be time resolved, since it is infinite in time.
