I'm looking for two things basically:
1) Syllabi for sampling or survey data analysis courses you've taken or tought. Good and bad examples both wanted.
2) If you've take a course on this, we'd love your frank thoughts (again positive or negative) even if you can't share the syllabus. Direct message is fine if you don't feel comfortable commenting "out loud."
Colleague Stas Kolenikov and I are up to something.

You might look at the collection of peer-reviewed syllabi in the American Psychology Association's Project Syllabus. It's organized by topic and the next to last section has 6 for testing and measurement. You might be more interested in classes from stats departments, but hopefully these include some useful ideas about class structure, possible readings, and different activities. It was interesting in handling sampling / survey analysis course. Syllabi can be prepared according your needs as referred by Kevin. However, when I did the learning curve of the students were very high when we did the course completely using computer aided techniques rather than fully manual - I can feel the curiosity of the students especially from middle east.
I especially appreciated an assignment where we had to write the questions for a multi-item scale on a topic of our interest. It was good less in question wording.
Basically sampling is an easy subject. The issue is
1. understanding the complexities of the population with domain.
2. conceptualise the scheme with the condition under which it is applicable.
3. Mathematics for estimation of mean and errors.
4. The understanding about the application.
