The concept of " early detection " is related to medical conditions that have efficient treatment and their progress could be halted early in their development. Early detection of Alzheimer's Disease ( a disease with no efficient treatment for now ) could even harm by marking people with early stigmas , undermining their societal and familial status and installing in them the fear of a severe disease long before it becomes  clinically evident.
