are you sure they are growing? I've worked with mcf7 on the past and they never grow in suspension. If your flask is really confluent maybe what you are seeing is the dead cells in suspension. They will present a wrinkled membrane and kind of black.
Be sure the flasks you are using are in a horizontal position and treated for tissue culture. Some flasks or petri dishes are not treated for cell culture.
Anyhow there are brands that sell highly adherent flasks and plates for tricky cell lines.
However mcf7 is quite strong cell line, they should adhere. Be sure you are not using them in a very high passage
