Long term impacts of COVID-19 would leave impacts on Economy (the World and of course a Nation, in particular), Industrial and Health Systems and Infrastructure, Academics etc. The pandemic disease has already halted the World and burden on Health Infra & Systems is increasing. Social distancing can certainly be helpful in this scenario, which would not be helping to keep one safe and develop immunity that way but also would sluggish or stop the further spread of the contagious disease.

The survival of severe viral pneumonia or acute respiratory distress syndrome, especially after intensive care, is known to have long-lasting effects. Some survivors have long-term shortness of breath and fatigue as a result of lung damage or other complications. Long-term symptoms are a feature of other coronaviruses.
