Hello all,

I am currently working on pellet induction in Trichoderma sps. for the production of cellulases. Although I am able to induce pellets of somewhat uniform size and compactness in a media that has the basic carbon source, nitrogen source and micronutrients, I am not able to sustain the pellets in production media which contains cellulose, wheat bran, glucose and other micronutrients. The pellets seem to disintegrate and change to it's filamentous form by almost 18-20th hour of the run. The broth itself is very viscous and on microscopic examination, very few pellets have been observed to have remained and the rest it is filamentous. If anyone could help me out, I need to know if there might be any reason for the failure in pellet sustenance and for filamentous manifestation of the culture.

Thank you.
