The term "Terrorism" has an ambiguous connotation depending on the point of view of the oppressed and the oppressor:

• Of the state that considers an aggressive action of force as legitimate against the social movements that it considers illegal
• Aggressive and fearful strategy of organized groups or settlers, who apparently pursue political ends or demands for freedom before what they consider a dictatorship or autocracy.

The following definition of consensus in Wikipedia and the Dictioner of the Spanish Language:

El término "Terrorismo" tiene connotación ambigua según se trate del punto de vista del oprimido y del opresor:

• Del estado que considera una acción agresiva de fuerza como legítima frente a los movimientos sociales que considera ilegales
• Estrategia agresiva y de temor de grupos organizados o de pobladores, que persiguen aparentemente fines políticos o demandas de libertad ante lo que consideran una dictadura o autocracia.

La siguiente es definición de consenso en Wikipedia y del Dicccionario de la Lengua Española:

• Definir el concepto de terrorismo ha sido un asunto complejo para las ciencias sociales por una razón: es muy difícil diferenciar los actos legítimos de los luchadores por la libertad y el terrorismo.​ El Diccionario de la Real Academia Española, en el avance de su vigésima tercera edición modifica la anterior incluyendo una tercera acepción, define el término «terrorismo» como:

1. Dominación por el terror.

2. Sucesión de actos de violencia ejecutados para infundir terror.

3. Actuación criminal de bandas organizadas, que de forma reiterada y por lo común de modo indiscriminado, pretende crear alarma social con fines políticos

I guess :

1. No value for their own life

2. Blind belief (religion or otherwise)

3. No motto or a purpose

4. Mass hysteria or group of psychologically deranged

5. Funded by some crazy set of people

6. Lack of a sense of belonging (lost in the name of stupid stuff)

Terrorism is usually based in a combination of strong ideology and intense emotions. Most of terrorism attacks in the word carried out based on motivations and goals that have a predominantly religious character or influence which can be named religion terrorism. It can say that religion, along with many other factors, can provide most support for terrorism.

Terrorism may serve goals such as religious, ideological, nationalist,political,economical,social and ethnic .
