What cell culture media is best for culturing cells from human Wharton's Jelly tissue?

When culturing cells from small pieces of Wharton's Jelly 1-3cm2 in size, what media is successful in promoting the cells to migrate out of the Wharton's Jelly matrix and adhere to the culture surface?

Publications have suggested DMEM, which has not been successful.
