I have never experienced the same situation as described in the question, but my thought about this problem is as follows. When the manuscript was revised to satisfy all the comments of the reviewers, there is no reason for the editor to reject the publication of the manuscript. You should ask the editor why the manuscript was rejected. If the reason was unreasonable, you should protest against it. Another possibility for you to try would be to send the manuscript to a journal of a different publisher by attaching the letter and documentary evidence to explain all the unreasonable things (rejection of your paper by the first journal and the publication of the paper on the same idea written by well-known persons and received later than yours).
If I have been through a similar situation
I suggest you send your work again with the corrections suggested by the Journal editor. If you reject it again make a claim for plagiarism and attach all the documentation that supports its said.
