Sir, biodiesel production depends on the chemicals used for the purpose including the oil. Being a bio-entity, types of oil vary very much. Even for petro-based fuels, the versatility is very prominent. Now it must be very clear that reactors are just the helping tools. Yes it matters whether it functioning properly, whether the required temperature and mixing intensity are being achieved or not. So, for every oil some specific production parameters are there. Different alcohol and catalysts have different effect on a particular oil. To get the highest quality of biodiesel with maximum yield, one should do the optimization at the very beginning.
