Hi! I know people use beta-actin and GAPDH as loading control for tissue samples and cells, but other than amylase, what else can I use for saliva samples?

Can I use sIgA? I've used the antibody before for Westerns to detect sIgA in saliva, but I don't know. Any thoughts?

Btw, the sample came from a single donor, so I'm guessing the level of sIgA present in that person's system is the same, so it can be used as the loading control?

Please share your thoughts! Thanks!
