What buffer can we use to store cAMP lysates for later analysis using the cAMP alphaLISA

Hi,

We are trying to find a buffer that we can use to collect and lyse primary macrophages to assay the levels of cAMP accumulation. We have been using a kit from arbor assays that allows us to store the lysate at -20C, but we are interested in using the Perkin-Elmer AlphaLISA kit. However, we are worried that cAMP levels might degrade in different buffers that are compatible with this kit. Does anyone have any advise or experience in working with cAMP lysate?
