#Sourcing and seeking research ethics committee approval#
Conducting research that requires data acquisition directly from research participants requires the source and applying for research ethics committee approval before the researchers begins to collect data from research participants. However, this process is sometimes tedious, stressful, and frustrating to the extent that some research proposals get abandoned. Some research proposals for which ethics approval are sought sometimes get no response and in the near future the research get conducted by those who never conceived the research ideas.
What are your experiences and what suggestions are there for researchers who find themselves in such situations?
