Silver nanocubes are synthesized in situ on an ion exchange matrix as a stabilizer. So, for XRD studies the nanostructures cannot be separated from it due to the lost shape, morphology.

They are around 200nm in size and we want to probe their crystallinity. By powder XRD we were able to detect just the phase of the structure. EBSD technique is a complicated technique to apply here due to its requirements. May synchrotron radiation be another valuable alternative? Or what other techniques could be applied ?
