Dear S. Sathishkumar, I think you refer to gears with a composite housing. The tribological tests you should care for are basically the same for normal gears. The main problemas with composite housings are the lower hardness of the housing and the lower thermal conductivity of it. So you should probably have an hardness test and structural test and also make a thermodynamic evaluation to prevent excessive heating of the gear and lubrication fluid.
